    4X7 storage units are available for rent for $40 per month.  Please contact management for more information.

  • Cleaning Services

    • Guests staying for 30 or more nights will have a pre-arranged cleaning scheduled once per month.  Management will contact you for a set schedule.  If you do not want this service,  we still will access your room for general maintenance once per month
    • Guest staying for 1 to 7 nights –Cleaning service is available Monday through Friday, for a fee of $59 per day- please contact management 24 hours in advance to schedule
    • Extra linens and supplies will be located in the guest locker located at ______.  The code to get into the locker is _____.

    • Complimentary bike storage for guests is available on the Lake Level.
    • Guests must supply their own lock to secure bike.

  • Extended Stay Acknowledgements

    • The Saddlery Madison is a lodging establishment that offers sleeping accommodations to “transients” or persons who travel to locations away from their permanent address for a short period of time for vacation, pleasure, recreation, culture, business, medical reasons, temporary displacement due to fire, flood or other such reasons, or employment.  By booking a reservation, you acknowledge that you wish to stay at The Saddlery Madison on a temporary basis for one of such purposes, and acknowledge, represent, and warrant that you have a permanent address elsewhere. 
    • The relationship between The Saddlery Madison and you is not to be deemed to be a landlord-tenant relationship and The Saddlery Madison reserves all rights set forth in Wis. Stat. 97.
    • The Saddlery Madison operates as a “hotel” and not as a rooming house or apartment.
    • Generally, rooms at The Saddlery Madison are rented on a short-term basis for less than 30 days.  However, due to the special purpose of your stay, it is expected that you may stay at The Saddlery Madison for over 30 days and for an indefinite period until the purpose of the stay has terminated or is otherwise terminated by either party upon prior notice to the other party.
    • For stays in excess of 30 days:  The 30-day period is only being used as a basis for determining a daily room rate and for purposes of establishing state occupancy and sales tax exemption, not for purposes of establishing the length of stay. NOTE: If you do not stay at The Saddlery Madison for at least 30 consecutive days, you will be responsible to pay sales tax and occupancy tax, if any, for the length of the stay. Sales tax and occupancy tax will be charged upon arrival for all stays until such time as a 30-consecutive night stay is reached.  Such taxes will be adjusted off your bill after the thirtieth (30th) consecutive night commences and for all evenings past 30 consecutive nights.
    • The Saddlery Madison preserves its statutory lien rights under Wis. Stat. 779.43.  In addition, you agree (on behalf of yourself and all registered guests in the assigned room) to provide The Saddlery Madison with a lien upon and possession rights upon all “personal property” that you or your guests bring into The Saddlery Madison’s premises and property, including but not limited to, baggage, computers, and other personal property, whether the personal property is the property of or under the control of you or any other person liable for the lodging or other accommodation furnished to you, as security for the timely payment of all monies due and payable to The Saddlery Madison. Such lien/possession rights shall not be released unless and until all monies attributable to the lodging provided to you has been fully paid, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the parties. For purposes of exercising its lien rights and in order to preserve and protect the premises and property located therein, you further agree to allow The Saddlery Madison access to the lodging when you are absent. You agree to allow The Saddlery Madison to seize or take possession of your personal property or prevent you from taking possession of your personal property until such time as all monies due and payable to The Saddlery Madison are paid in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the parties.  In the event that you fail to timely pay any money due to The Saddlery Madison, The Saddlery Madison shall have the right to seize such personal property and sell or otherwise dispose of same in accordance with applicable law and retain the proceeds of such sale or disposition.
    • Building Entrance codes - A different code is given out to each guest for entrance of the building.  The code will expire once you check out at 11am.  Please do not give your code to anyone who is not a guest staying at the Saddlery.
    • Pet Policy: Limit 2 pets (cats and/or dogs). Pets must be on leash or in carrier in public areas including hallways, stairwells and elevators.  Pets should be kept quiet when inside The Saddlery Madison and when outside near guest room windows.  Guests may be liable for pet related damage.  Your account will be charged for the repair or replacement cost for any damage caused by your pet.  You are responsible for cleaning up any pet waste from The Saddlery Madison property and grounds, and City of Madison sidewalks.  Please dispose of pet waste only in the receptables provided for this purpose.  Pet fee stays of less than 30 nights is $75.  Pet fee for longer term stays of 30+ nights will be charged at $75 per month. Pet fees will be charged if you do not disclose you are bringing a pet but there is evidence that a pet is present during your stay.

  • Policies

    • Check-Out - Check out is at 11AM.  Your code to enter the hotel will expire then.  Please ensure any dirty dishes are placed in the dishwasher and all unwanted food items are placed in the trash.
    • Quiet Hours:  Quiet hours are to be observed between the hours of 10:00pm and 7am local time.
    •  The Saddlery Madison Property Policy Acknowledgments By booking a reservation, you acknowledge and agree as follows:
    1. Deposit Policy:   There is a credit card required for this reservation.  For stays between 1-29 nights, a deposit in the amount of one night’s room and tax is due at the time of booking and full payment for the reminder of your stay is due upon arrival.  For stays of 30 nights or longer, a deposit of one night’s room and tax is due at the time of booking and payment of 30 nights is due upon arrival.  Payments will be due in advance in monthly installments every 30 days thereafter. Any change to your arrival or departure date or room type is subject to hotel availability and may result in a possible rate change or additional fee.  Deposit policy for special event dates may vary.
    2.     3. Accessibility: The Saddlery Madison provides elevators.  Rooms with additional accessible features are available.  Please see room type descriptions on our website for specific features offered in each room.
    4. Parking Policy:  Limited parking is available onsite for long term guests for a monthly fee. Please contact management at The Saddlery Madison to arrange.  Self-parking available in city ramps and streets nearby for a fee.
    5. Access: The Saddlery Madison reserves the right to enter all guest rooms at any time at our discretion.
    6. For guests staying more than 7 nights, a weekly refresh of your room is available for a fee. Please contact us within your first few days of stay to arrange this service.
    7. Guests and Minors: The primary reservation-holder must be at least 21 years of age and must accompany all individuals who are younger than this during their stay. All guests occupying a room must be registered.
    8. No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the The Saddlery Madison. A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged for smoking inside the room.
    9. Use of Common Areas: Hallways, sidewalks, ramps, entries, doors, stairways or driveways are for the use of The Saddlery Madison guests for passage into and within The Saddlery Madison.  Such areas may not be used for storage of personal property or similar uses. Any personal property found in such areas may be moved for safety by The Saddlery Madison staff.
    10. Garbage and Recycling: Instructions for handling garbage and recycling during your stay and at check-out will be found in your room upon arrival.
    11. Open Flames:  The Saddlery Madison prohibits the use of candles or open flames within the building.
    12. Waiver: No waiver by The Saddlery Madison of any default or breach of any covenant, condition, or stipulation herein, or acceptance by The Saddlery Madison of any late payment hereunder, shall be treated as a waiver of any subsequent default or breach of the same or any other covenant, condition or stipulation.
    13. Limitation of Liability: The Saddlery Madison is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities, unless caused by The Saddlery Madison personnel or agents.  The Saddlery Madison is not responsible for the loss of your personal belongings or valuables, except as provided by law.  You are responsible for any and all damages and injuries caused by you and by your guests at The Saddlery Madison or on The Saddlery Madison property. We will charge your credit card for any damage or missing room items following your departure and will contact you to establish payment if the card on file declines post-departure.
    14. Personal Information We Collect and How We Use it:  We collect only basic personal information about you such as your name, e-mail, address, telephone number and any other information you choose to provide so that we may process your requests, such as contacting you about hotel reservations, hotel opportunities or possible group or event business arrangements.  In addition, if you choose to sign-up to receive e-email updates we will use your e-mail address to send you the requested information.  All required and optional information is clearly denoted on any form that you are presented.  If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail, we will collect your name and e-mail address as well as any other contract included in the e-mail, to send you a reply.  Please note that submission of any e-mail authorizes us to contact you via e-mail.  We, our service providers, business affiliates and our vendors may use any information collected by users:  to effect users’ transactions; to provide better services; products and opportunities to users; to notify users about services and opportunities that may be of interest to such users; to create and share reports about users’ transactions; and for other marketing purposes.  It is our policy not to disclose or sell any information to third parties.  Notwithstanding this policy, we retain the right to disclose collected information if required to do so by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of the Company, our customers, or others.
    15. Fraud Policy:  You agree to comply with and be bound by Wis. Stat. 943.23 and 943.212, which provides that if you intentionally leave without paying for any beverage, food, lodging or other service or accommodation that was provided by The Saddlery Madison or intentionally defrauds The Saddlery Madison in any transaction arising out of the relationship as guest, such action shall constitute a criminal and/or civil liability.  You agree to be liable for any damages suffered by The Saddlery Madison as a result of the above actions by you or for causing other damage or injury to The Saddlery Madison, its employees and guests.
    16. Furniture/Décor Policy:  Please do not arrange the décor or furniture without permission.  Arrangements can be made for long term guests if approved in advance by The Saddlery Madison management team.
    17. Notifying Property of Accidents/Items to be Cured:  If something isn’t working property or if accidents happen, please notify The Saddlery Madison immediately.
    18. Severance: If a provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, the balance shall remain in full force and effect.
